Sheryl only lives two houses away from me but busy lives mean we only get to see each other around exhibition times! Sheryl played a large part in the Poems in the Waiting Room When North meets South exhibition participating as an artist and creating wonderful dips and absolutely stunning haiku filled truffles for the opening.
Sheryl is a contemporary realism artist with her subject matter featuring still life, rustic old buildings, boats and water reflections – all with attention to detail.
A self-taught artist, Sheryl works from photographs and uses acrylic as her medium. As a graphic artist, Sheryl has designed information panels and logos and illustrated books.
Sheryl is using my poem, Let things be done shipshape and Bristol fashion, as inspiration for her artwork. And the Olveston connection? David Theomin originally came from Bristol and this expression is on his book-plate.
