Shakespeare in the garden

Olveston potager

Tomorrow afternoon I’m calling in to Olveston to see Shakespeare in the garden. Senior students from Queens High School will be performing a series of free Shakespearean highlights in the gardens from 2-3pm. They’ll be there again on Wednesday from 3-4pm and just in case one of those days is inclement Thursday will be the back up day, 3-4pm.

The gardens are looking exquisite right now so have a wander around them either before or after the performance. You might even find something to take home from the sales table at the rear of the potager garden.

Ruth ! Gosh I wish I’d been in Dunedin to enjoy what looks like a delightful afternoon of Shakespeare in the garden. It looks such fun.

AND I am so excited about your new role – what an inspired pairing it is – Olveston with its old world charm and ambience, and you with your natural grace and evocative writing and photography skills. I wondered what you were up to when I read on your own blog about a new and exciting upcoming project.r I am already looking forward to reading and seeing your Olveston portfolio. GO YOU xx

Thanks Sal. Quite a challenge coordinating this year’s events but once the Olveston idea was in my head I knew I had to follow it through! It’s a very special place and Jeremy is the most wonderful manager. Check out their website, so many exciting events…. Love R
